Life Lessons - BC Camp Wednesday

This morning, the Company, sluggish and slow,
Trudged through Act Two; we finished the show!
But Scott was concerned with our little show's fate.
He warned us to work now before it's too late.

The whole Company carries the show on their backs,
And he wants to shine, so he told us the facts:
The vocals were lacking, the energy, gone.
Sure, we're all tired, but the show must go on!

WE step the steps that we learned on stage.
WE sing the songs for the show from the page.
WE will decide if we'll shine like the stars.
The show not "his," "hers," or "Scott's;" no, it's OURS.

With that on our minds, we munched lunch all hearty,
And we got the blood pumping with a little Dance Party!
All at once, a new energy flowed through the halls.
Excitement, intention bounced off the walls.

And what do you know; with a sprinkle of drive,
We CAN make the vast world of Seuss come alive.
So if ever you feel like you just simply can't,
Just try to remember this one simple chant:

ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE!

It will help you, I know.
It will help everyone make a jaw-dropping show.
It will help you in life and wherever you go.
If you THINK and you WORK, then it WILL be so.
