We knew these BC kids were devoted to Footloose but we had no idea about their true commitment to the show. In a conversation with our actors, we got another glimpse into their dedication. All of their responses were quotes from the show! A transcript of our conversation is below:
NJ & GB: Kids! Were you up late last night with the party at the Reuteman House?
Kids: “Woke up in the daylight
Don’t remember last night
We just know we wasn’t alone.”
NJ & GB: Oh my gosh! What was going on at the Reuteman’s ?
Kids: "We partied in the fast lane,
We was feelin’ no pain
Somebody carried us home.”
NJ & GB: Oh, my……..
Kids: Just kidding. Actually, we got a lot of work done and
“Our knees are going one way
Whoo! And our feet won’t stop!
Give us room cuz we’re still rockin’
Still rockin’ and goin’ strong.”
NJ & GB: What has gotten into you kids? You keep quoting Cowboy Bob’s song!
Kids: “Somethin’ in the ozone
Shivers up our backbone
Makin’ us rock and roll.
Shimmy up the sidewalk
Faster than a tick-tock
People think we’re out of control!
But don’t worry none,
Just havin’ fun,
Ain’t gonna lose our mind.
And if anybody asks you
