More kudos and Kudos were awarded today to outstanding members. Dance captains then led the group in a series of warm-ups and abs. Word among BC members is that despite the complaining and moaning and whimpering and whining, everyone appreciates the stretches and an opportunity to get in shape.
Our dancers spent a lot of time with Scott today (see pictures) while the rest of the Company read the entire script for Footloose. Some of the humor that is not apparent in a silent reading was hilarious when read aloud by our impromptu cast.
Lunch was Italian Fest featuring lasagna, antipasto, garlic bread swimming in oil (yum) and cookies. Some of us were also treated to Scott’s history as he regaled us with tales of making it in the world of theater.
Ride the Pony. Becky Bumblebee. Eggplant Elissa. Shiny Sean. Milk Matt. Just ask – your child can explain.
The plan is to finish Act I by tomorrow and run it. We have our work cut out for us!
